Terms

Independent retailer.

You are buying a reservation from TCG Slayer. These terms are the rules for that purchase.

Change log — October 22, 2026: We updated "Partner links" to explain that people who share TCG Slayer links may receive Collector Rewards or partner credit for orders placed through their link.

Change log — October 22, 2026: We updated "Disputes and arbitration": it does not cover a dispute you had already sent us notice of before you agreed; the arbitrator decides questions of scope, validity, and enforceability; the Revised Florida Arbitration Code applies if the Federal Arbitration Act does not; and you can opt out by mail. We also renamed "Chargebacks and disputes" to "Chargebacks (bank disputes)."

Change log — October 21, 2026: We added "Disputes and arbitration," the Terms box at checkout and sign-up, and the name of the company behind TCG Slayer, and changed "Florida law" to match. A dispute you sent us notice of before that date stays under the earlier terms.

Change log — October 20, 2026: "Names and trademarks" now covers the other games we sell. Nothing else in these terms changed.

Please read "Disputes and arbitration" below. Unless you opt out within 30 days, it requires most disputes with us to be resolved by individual arbitration instead of in court, and you and we each give up the right to a jury trial and to bring or join a class action.

Who you are buying from

You are buying from TCG Slayer, a trade name of Sandbox Strategies LLC. Mail reaches us at 13130 56th Ct N #608, Clearwater, FL 33760.

These terms also apply when you use the site, the chat, or an account. You agree to them when you place an order or create an account.

You can create a TCG Slayer account, or check out as a guest. To sign up or sign in, use your email and a password, Google, or Discord. You can also ask us to email you a one-time sign-in link. Your account shows your orders and your account settings. Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so tell us at support@tcgslayer.io if you think someone else has used it.

Your public order reference looks like TCG-000000. That reference alone does not show your address, email, or card details.

This is a presale reservation

You are buying a TCG Slayer reservation, not a box from Pokémon Center or any other retailer. To keep supply steady and prices low, TCG Slayer works with a number of sourcing partners, both third-party sellers and distributors. Your order may ship from us, from a retailer, or from one of our sourcing partners.

This website does not place a checkout at a retailer, and it does not run bots. We do not claim a retailer's inventory as ours.

Orders are fulfilled by people: our staff and contractors working from the order list. The site keeps the record of your reservation.

The product

Each product page states the price, whether it is a presale, and any release day or ship-by date. Shipping is shown at checkout. The shipping on your order is the amount shown at checkout when you paid; a later change to shipping does not change an order already placed. Shipping costs and refunds of shipping are explained on our Shipping page.

Payment is taken in full at checkout, in US dollars, by card. Stripe processes your card. We do not save the card for reuse, and we never see the full card number or the security code. Your card statement includes TCGSLAYER.

Any sales tax is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay. A price already paid does not change if we later edit the catalog. The lines on your order are the price you paid.

Where we ship

We treat common street abbreviations as the same address (St and Street, Apt and Suite, and the unit line) and we use the first five digits of the ZIP. The United States only. Pick your state from the list at checkout. We ship to the lower 48 US states and the District of Columbia. The country on the order is US. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, the US Virgin Islands, American Samoa, the Northern Mariana Islands, or APO/FPO/DPO military mail (AA, AE, AP). We do not offer a shipping address outside that list.

We will not take a new payment when the collection is sold out. If two payments land at the same time and one of them is over the stock we have left, we cancel that extra order and refund the charge. We do not keep the money.

A payment that does not finish does not become an order. Closing the payment page, or a declined card, leaves no reservation.

Ship-by date and the refund you can ask for

If a presale has not shipped by the ship-by date on the order, you may ask for a full refund. Shipped means we have a tracking number on the order. There is no button for this refund. Email support@tcgslayer.io and ask. Details, including where the money goes, are on the Pre-order terms.

The date does not refund you on its own. The refund happens when we process your request, or when we cancel an order we cannot keep (sold out after a charge).

If you want to cancel

There is no cancel button for buyers. Email support@tcgslayer.io with your order reference before the order ships. While the order is paid, claimed, or packed, we can cancel it, refund the remaining charge to the original card, and release the quantity.

Orders cannot be cancelled once shipped. Unopened, sealed items may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund of the item price minus return shipping.

Chargebacks (bank disputes)

If something is wrong with the charge, write support@tcgslayer.io before you dispute it with your bank. We can refund an order ourselves. A bank dispute does not move an order faster.

When Stripe tells us a dispute was opened, we record it. A dispute for the full amount, on an order that has not shipped, can cancel the order and release the quantity. A dispute after the order has shipped or been fulfilled is recorded. It does not, by itself, cancel the order. A refund Stripe has already sent is recorded the same way.

What you may not do

Do not use bots or scripts. Do not use a card or an address you are not allowed to use. Do not send us a card number. Payment happens on Stripe's page.

We may refuse, cancel, and refund an order we believe breaks those rules. Shops that want sealed product in volume use Contact. That is a conversation, not a second checkout, and it is not a reserved allocation.

People who share TCG Slayer links, including partners, may receive Collector Rewards or partner credit for orders placed through their link. When you arrive through a partner's link, a cookie remembers that partner. If you then create an account, your account is tagged to that partner, and the tag stays on your account, so later orders count for that partner too. Partner tagging never changes your price. If you think you were tagged to the wrong partner, email support@tcgslayer.io.

Names and trademarks

TCG Slayer is an independent retailer and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the publishers or owners of the games and brands we sell, including The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, Creatures Inc., GAME FREAK inc., Disney, Ravensburger, Bandai, Shueisha, Toei Animation, Wizards of the Coast, and Hasbro; all product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Product names are used so you can tell what you are buying.

The words, layout, and paintings on this site that we made are ours. Publisher logos and card art are not part of our interface.

Limits on our liability

This drop is a reservation for a sealed product at a posted price. We do not promise a market price, a resale price, or that the product will gain value later.

Our liability arising out of an order is limited to the amount you paid for the order. Some states do not allow certain limits. A limit applies only where the law allows it. Nothing here limits liability that a statute says we cannot limit.

Disputes and arbitration

This section affects your rights. Unless you opt out, you and TCG Slayer agree to resolve disputes by individual arbitration, not in court. You and we each give up the right to a jury trial and to bring or join a class action.

Talk to us first. Before either side starts an arbitration or a small claims case, that side sends the other a written notice of the dispute. Send yours to support@tcgslayer.io or to Sandbox Strategies LLC (doing business as TCG Slayer), 13130 56th Ct N #608, Clearwater, FL 33760. We send ours to the email on your order or account. The notice gives your name, the email on your order or account, the order reference if there is one, what happened, and what you want. You sign it yourself; a lawyer can sign it too. For two months after the notice arrives, we both try in good faith to settle it, and either side can ask for a phone or video call that the person with the claim attends (lawyers may join). The time limit to bring the claim pauses during those two months. An arbitration filed before this step is done waits until it is.

What this covers. Any dispute between you and TCG Slayer that comes from or relates to these terms, our Privacy Policy, an order, the site, the chat, an account, our emails, or how we collect, use, record, or share information. That includes claims under privacy, wiretapping, eavesdropping, pen register, trap and trace, and consumer protection laws, such as the California Invasion of Privacy Act, and claims that arose before you agreed to these terms, unless a court case on that claim was already filed, or you had already sent us a notice of the dispute, before you agreed. The arbitrator decides any question about whether a dispute must be arbitrated, including the scope, validity, and enforceability of this section, except where this section says a court decides.

What this does not cover. Either side can bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies there. Either side can ask a court to stop infringement or misuse of a trademark, copyright, or other intellectual property. Where the law does not allow a request for public injunctive relief to be arbitrated or waived, that request goes to a court, and the court waits until the arbitration of everything else is done.

Who runs it. National Arbitration and Mediation (NAM, namadr.com) runs the arbitration under its rules for consumer disputes and, for a mass filing, its Supplemental Rules for Mass Arbitration Filings, as in effect when the claim is filed, except where this section says otherwise. If NAM cannot or will not run it, we agree on another provider, or a court picks one. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section. One arbitrator decides each case and can award the same individual relief a court could, including damages and an order limited to you. The hearing is by video or phone unless the arbitrator decides one in person is needed. An in-person hearing is held in the county where you live or in Pinellas County, Florida, as you choose. The award binds only the parties to that case.

Fees. If you start an arbitration, your share of NAM's fees is no more than the fee to file the same claim in court where you live, and we pay the rest of NAM's fees. If the arbitrator finds the claim was frivolous or brought for an improper purpose, NAM's rules decide who pays. Each side pays its own lawyers unless the law or the arbitrator says otherwise.

Individual claims only. You and we each bring claims only for ourselves, not as a plaintiff or class member in a class, collective, consolidated, private attorney general, or representative case. The arbitrator cannot combine more than one person's claims or award relief to anyone who is not a party, except for the batching under mass filings below. A court, not an arbitrator, decides whether this paragraph can be enforced. If a court finds it cannot be enforced for a claim, that claim goes to court, not to class arbitration, and waits until the arbitration of everything else is done. If a dispute is in court for any reason, you and we each give up a jury trial where the law allows.

Mass filings. If 25 or more similar demands are filed against us, or by us, with the help of the same or coordinated lawyers or organizations, they are a mass filing, and NAM's Supplemental Rules for Mass Arbitration Filings apply. NAM groups the demands into batches of up to 100, and every batch goes forward at the same time, each before its own arbitrator. A decision in one case does not bind anyone else. NAM charges its mass-filing fees per batch, and we pay them, except the part of a filing fee described under "Fees." If NAM has not appointed an arbitrator for your case within 120 days after your demand is filed, or has not set a hearing date within one year, you may bring your individual claim in court instead, as described under "Florida law" below. The time limit to bring each claim pauses from the day we receive its notice of dispute. A NAM procedural arbitrator, or a court, can enforce this paragraph.

Opting out. You can opt out of this section within 30 days after you first agree to these terms, by placing an order or creating an account. Email support@tcgslayer.io from the address on your order or account with your name and the words "Arbitration opt-out." You can also mail the same notice to Sandbox Strategies LLC (doing business as TCG Slayer), 13130 56th Ct N #608, Clearwater, FL 33760, postmarked within the 30 days. Opting out does not change anything else in these terms, and it does not cancel an order. If you opt out, disputes go to court under "Florida law" below.

Changes to this section. If we change this section, the change applies only to disputes that arise after we post it. A dispute you already sent notice of stays under the version in effect when you sent it. You can reject a change by emailing us within 30 days after we post it, and the earlier version keeps applying to you.

This section stays in effect after an order is done or an account is closed. If any part of it cannot be enforced, the rest still applies, except as "Individual claims only" says.

Florida law

The laws of the State of Florida govern these terms, except that the Federal Arbitration Act governs "Disputes and arbitration." If the Federal Arbitration Act does not apply, the Revised Florida Arbitration Code does. A dispute that is not arbitrated, including one you opted out of arbitrating, is brought in the state or federal courts located in Pinellas County, Florida, and you and we agree to those courts. Nothing in these terms takes away a protection that the law of your state says cannot be waived.

Changes

We may update these pages. The "Last updated" line changes when we do. A change does not take away the ship-by date or the opt-in full refund on an order you have already paid. Those stay as stated when you paid, unless you agree to something else in writing.

On October 20, 2026, we removed the store-wide statement about product language. Each product page now shows the product's language when it's listed. If it isn't listed, email support@tcgslayer.io before you order.
